Ducati Streetfighter Premiere
Not even a dark cloud on the horizon could keep Streefighter deposit placers, loyal Ducatisti and other VIPs from the premiere of the new Ducati Streetfighter at Pure Ducati on Friday 22nd May.
Guests warmed themselves by sampling Ducati Desmo red wine courtesy of 17th Street Winery and cerveza courtesy of Peroni. After a few slices of coal fired pizza the loyal gathered for the unveiling. CEO Martyn Graham lifted the DP custom-fit cover, and gave attendees a brief overview of the design features and engineering priorities of the new model.
This was no mere repackaging of the 1098 engine nor another incarnation of the Monster, but a completely new beast. Redesigned from the ground up to rule the street in a package that was more rider friendly then a superbike, and with more torque and useable horsepower than a Monster S4RS.
Lighter, faster and more intelligent then anything out there, the new streetfighter raises the bar for high power, urban sport motorcycles. |
